Ismail Sabri: EMCO ends in Kg Sabah Baru, Lahad Datu on Dec 7

PUTRAJAYA: The enhanced movement control order (MCO) enforced on Kg Sabah Baru in Lahad Datu, Sabah, has been lifted Monday (Dec 7).

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that to date, health authorities had conducted 2,054 screenings, which resulted in a cumulative 382 Covid-19 positive cases.

“The health ministry has confirmed that it has received all the samples from the tests. With their advice, the government has agreed to end the enhanced MCO placed on Kg Sabah Baru in Lahad Datu today as scheduled, ” he said on Monday.

The locality was placed under the order since Nov 10 because of a rise in Covid-19 cases there.
