PETALING JAYA: The possibility of Umno and long-time rival DAP working together should not come as a surprise, as history has shown that even rivals can bury the hatchet to reach a common goal, says Datuk A. Kadir Jasin.
The former Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) supreme council member said if former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad could work with DAP, PKR and Parti Amanah Negara to overthrow Barisan Nasional before, it is likely that Umno might think of using the same strategy.
