KUALA LUMPUR: Any decision on the Giant Panda pair in Zoo Negara will have to take into account the terms signed with China, the government announces.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Datuk Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah reminded that the Malaysia-China Giant Panda Interna-tional Conservation Agreement was signed for a period of 10 years beginning 2014, which was when the pair of pandas arrived here to commemorate 40 years of diplomatic relations.
