JOHOR BARU: Jewellery shops are expecting a hike in sales after gold prices dropped on the heels of various announcements promising Covid-19 vaccines.

South Johor Golden Ornaments Trade Association deputy chairman Soh Lip Sim said he expected sales to go up by 10% to 20%, which is welcome news for the industry.
