KUALA LUMPUR: A holistic approach by the government is needed in reviewing existing confidentiality laws including enacting law on freedom of information, say civil rights groups.
Transparency International Malaysia (TI) president Dr Muhammad Mohan said public engagement was crucial before any changes to the laws were made or if new ones were to be enacted.
