KUALA LUMPUR: The recent World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2020 saw experts from various countries sharing their experience and current developments in dealing with the impact of the pandemic on the employment sector.

Themed ‘Addressing the impact of Covid-19 on the labour market’, the web conference was co-hosted by the Social Security Organisation (Socso), alongside WAPES and the Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS) and involved participants from Asia, Europe and Africa.
