New record number of recoveries in a single day


PUTRAJAYA: For two days in a row, Malaysia saw more Covid-19 recoveries than new cases. The country recorded 935 new Covid-19 cases and discharged 2,555 patients yesterday, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

With 2,555 patients being discharged, the figure is the country’s new record for the number of recoveries in a single day. In total, 49,056 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Malaysia.
