Trio injured in accident involving two cars

GEORGE TOWN: A man, a woman and a child were injured in an accident at Jalan Sungai Dua in Taman Pekaka here on Tuesday (Nov 24).

Penang Fire and Rescue Department (fire operation and safety) officer Nafis Ariff Abdullah said they received a distress call at 11.15pm.

“When the Fire and Rescue team arrived at the scene, it was found that two cars were involved in the accident.

“All three victims were injured.

“The male victim was taken by the public to the hospital.

“The firefighters managed to remove the female victim who was trapped in her car.

“The victim was given initial treatment and sent to the hospital for further treatment, ” the statement read.
