KUCHING (Bernama): The Royal Malaysian Customs Department in Sarawak says it has foiled an attempt to smuggle 250,500kg of frozen chicken parts valued at RM1.03mil into the state.
Sarawak Customs director Herman Shah Abdullah said the 16,700 cartons of chicken wings, tails and leg quarters were found in six containers at Bintulu port on Nov 11, and that the duty on the products was estimated at RM412,000.
