PUTRAJAYA: The welfare of vulnerable groups in the country has been given a timely boost thanks to the increase in allowances for them under Budget 2021.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun said a recent revision of the national Poverty Line Income (PLI) from RM980 to RM2,208 meant that more than 400,000 households had fallen within this level.
