KUCHING: Sarawak will continue to pursue comprehensive constitutional amendments to protect the state's rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), including restoring its status as an equal partner in the federation.
Assistant Minister for Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said the state had brought up its proposed amendments to the special Cabinet committee on MA63 based on a resolution unanimously approved by the Sarawak Legislative Assembly last year.
