PETALING JAYA: From the time his wife passed away in April this year, Chitramaniam Ponnusamy’s life has been a constant struggle between finding work to support his family and caring for his three children aged four, six and 15.
A former security guard, the 48-year-old now working as a contract worker at a nursery, said with a take-home pay of no more than RM1,500, his only focus is ensuring his children are fed and clothed.
