KLANG: Two men were charged at the Sessions Court here with raping their colleague and performing unnatural sex acts on her.
Supermarket employees Wan Mohd Haziq Wan Harun, 22, and Muhammad Aiman Haris Mohamad Safari, 20, had allegedly committed the offences last month.
They had allegedly violated the woman in a house at Jalan Kenangan Meru between 8pm and 10pm on Oct 2.
The charges were read separately for both men before Sessions Judge Roszianayati Ahmad.
Wan Mohd Haziq was accused of raping the 22-year-old victim and
Muhammad Aiman was accused of committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature on the woman following the rape.
Wan Mohd Haziq was charged under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code while Muhammad Aiman was charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code.
If found guilty, both men faced a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping.
Wan Mohd Haziq and Muhammad Aiman both claimed trail to the charges.
Roszianayati Ahmad fixed bail at RM10,000 with one surety for each of the men and ordered Wan Mohd Haziq and Muhammad Aiman not to disturb the victim or prosecution witnesses.
They were also directed to report to the Meru police station once a month.
The court also fixed Jan 7,2021 for the case to be mentioned.
DPP Nurul Qistini Qamarul Abrar prosecuted while T. Mishant and Ethan W. H. Tan represented Wan Mohd Haziq and Muhammad Aiman, respectively.
