Autopsy of men killed in helicopter crash handed over to police


KUALA LUMPUR: The post-mortem reports on the two men killed in a helicopter crash here on Sunday (Nov 8) have been handed over to the police.

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia director Prof Datuk Dr Hanafiah Harunarashid said the reports were handed over to the investigating officer on Monday.

"Post-mortems were conducted on both men from between 9.15am to 11.15am and 11.30am to 1.15pm on Monday (Nov 9).Both post mortems were conducted by two of our most experienced forensic specialists," he told reporters outside the mortuary on Monday.

He said they were now waiting for the results of the chemical investigation, which formed part of the procedure in such cases.

" The police will release the findings of both post-mortems," he said.
