KUCHING: The Sarawak state assembly sitting, which starts next Monday (Nov 9), has been shortened from eight days to five days in view of the rising cases of Covid-19 in the state.
Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said he received a notification from Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg on Thursday (Nov 5) to vary the dates of the sitting, which was originally scheduled for Nov 9-18 to Nov 9-13.
