KOTA KINABALU: The state security council is hoping to renegotiate the possibility of reopening Sabah borders with neighbouring countries, including the Philippines and Indonesia, to process the deportations of illegal immigrants from the state soon.
Council director Sitti Saleha Habib said the state’s four detention centres have almost reached the maximum capacity to ensure SOP such as physical distancing are enforced in the centres in view of Covid-19.
