KUALA LUMPUR: A PAS lawmaker has apologised and retracted his controversial remarks that the Bible was distorted but continues to state the holy book had been altered in a Dewan Rakyat sitting.
“I retract the word distorted and what should have been said to YB Beruas was that he had used a different Bible that was altered and not distorted. I apologise and did not mean to hurt anyone as this was not my intention, ” said Datuk Nik Muhammad Zawawi.
