Send in ballots early, Americans in Malaysia told

KUALA LUMPUR: Citizens of the United States residing in Malaysia were told to send their absentee ballots for the US presidential election as early as possible as ballots sent through the mail will take approximately four weeks to reach various states within the country.

A spokesperson of the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Michelle Kevern, said they were committed to ensuring that US citizens abroad were aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to do so.
