Covid-19: CRC cancels all activities


GEORGE TOWN: The Chinese Recreation Club (CRC) has cancelled all its activities starting Thursday (Oct 29) following a confirmed Covid-19 case at the club.

In a notice to members dated Oct 28 sighted by The Star, CRC said the temporary halt would be until Nov 4 and all activities would resume on the following day.

"Any inconvenience caused is much regretted," stated the notice which was signed by the club honorary secretary Michael Yen Sen Lee.

Meanwhile, Tech Dome Penang has been closed since Oct 9 as a precautionary effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.

The site is closed until Nov 5 to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
