Injured wild elephant relocated from Jerantut


KUANTAN (Bernama): Wildlife personnel have successfully relocated an injured female elephant that has been foraging since Thursday (Oct 22) in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Chebong, Jerantut, about 160km from here.

Ten members from the Pahang Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) and 12 from the Kuala Gandah National Elephant Conservation Centre in Temerloh completed the massive task in four hours, from 9am, on Monday (Oct 26).
