Johor Umno seeking justification on use of Article 150 of Federal Constitution to declare Emergency

JOHOR BARU: Johor Umno wants the government to explain why Article 150 of the Federal Constitution is being used to pave the way for a declaration of a state of emergency in Malaysia.

Article 150 of the Constitution deals with the proclamation of a state of emergency and other matters linked to it.
