MELAKA: A coastal erosion crisis is looming with several beachfronts in Pantai Puteri and Kuala Linggi here in critical condition, according to the state government.
Melaka rural development, flood management and green technology committee chairman Datuk Seri Idris Haron said several other beachfronts along the 73km-long Melaka coastline were also increasingly “vulnerable”, forcing the state government to form a beach erosion committee.
