Covid-19: Luxury condo resident in Butterworth tests positive


BUTTERWORTH: A resident at a luxury condominium on Jalan Chain Ferry here tested positive for Covid -19.

The person, who lives in Tower B of the condominium, tested positive on Saturday (Oct 24), said the management of the condominium.

"The crisis preparedness and respondent centre (CPRC) has been duly notified, and the management has taken all necessary measures to sanitise all common access areas and touched surfaces using commercial-grade disinfectants," said the management's notice to residents.

In light of the latest development, it advised all residents to obey the recovery movement control order (MCO) by staying in their units at all times.

Residents were also told to always wear face masks as well as to wash their hands with soap and cover their mouths and noses with tissue paper whenever coughing or sneezing.

They were also asked to inform the management immediately if there were any confirmed new Covid-19 cases.
