PETALING JAYA: Pengurusan Air Selangor (Air Selangor) has announced that a burst pipe incident is causing unscheduled water supply disruption in 59 areas in the districts of Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Langat.
Air Selangor said in a statement on Friday (Oct 16) that the incident was a result of landfill pipes by third parties causing excessive pressure on the water pipes in the construction area of Worldwide Section U11, Shah Alam.
Water supply to the affected areas is expected to resume by 10am Saturday (Oct 17), it added.
Water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas.
