PETALING JAYA: Fifteen areas in Klang and Shah Alam, which were affected by the unscheduled water disruption, will have their water supply restored by 12.30pm Thursday (Oct 15).
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said in a statement that the repair works to the damaged pipes near a TNB substation at Jalan Bukit Raja, Klang was completed at 4am.
"Water supply has been restored to some consumers as early as 4.30am and all 15 affected areas will be restored in stages based on the distance to the consumers’ location and water pressure of the distribution system."
It further stated that the situation is expected to be fully rectified by 12.30pm today.
The areas affected by the damaged pipe at 10.30pm on Oct 13 are:
1) Batu Belah, Sg Putus and Teluk Kapas
4) 1-8 milestones of Jalan Kapar and Klang Utama
5) Klang town (1-3 milestones Jln Meru)
6) Bandar Baru Klang
7) Taman Berkley/Eng Ann
8) Jalan Goh Hock Huat
9) Bandar Sultan Sulaiman
10) Jalan Pelabuhan Utara
12) Sg Sireh and Seri Perantau
13) Kampung Keretapi
14) Jalan Limbungan
15) Jalan Shahbandar
