PETALING JAYA: Three roads that were previously closed in Kota Damansara will be reopened.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal on Wednesday (Oct 14) said the roads were Jalan Persiaran Mahogani (Seksyen 9), Jalan Persiaran Jati (Seksyen 8) and Jalan Persiaran Sungai Buloh (TSB).
"They will be reopened starting tonight as we want to prevent traffic congestion.
"We will also be redeploying frontliners for roadblocks duties and mobile patrol at various locations including markets and commercial centres," he said in a statement.
Petaling Jaya police personnel will also be deployed for other conditional movement control order (MCO) duties, he added.
"We hope the public will abide by the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
"We want to break the chain of Covid-19 infections," ACP Nik Ezanee said.
