GEORGE TOWN: The annual Deepavali bazaars will not be held this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic but traders in Little India are allowed to have temporary extensions to their shops.
Deputy Chief Minister ll Dr P. Ramasamy said there would be no Deepavali bazaars this year but traders were allowed to conduct their business with the temporary extensions under strict standard operating procedure (SOP).
