Police to set up four roadblocks in Kajang district under conditional MCO

KAJANG: The police will be setting up four roadblocks in the district once the conditional movement control order (MCO) comes into effect on Wednesday (Oct 14).

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the four road blocks would be enforced from 12.01am on Oct 14 until Oct 27.

"The roadblocks would be set up in front of the Broga police station, Jalan Broga, Jalan Nilai-Bangi and the entry to the Bandar Seri Putra toll plaza. We will also be closing the Jalan Genting Peras road completely to traffic," he said in a statement Tuesday (Oct 13).

He said the road blocks would be set up to decrease movement in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

"I would like to advise the public to be cautious and to abide by the standard operating procedures in place throughout the conditional MCO," he said.
