Health DG: More hospitals in Sabah designated to treat Covid-19 patients


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Kota Marudu Hospital in Sabah has become another hospital designated to treat Covid-19 cases in the state, bringing the total number to seven, says Health director-general Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah.

In a Facebook post Sunday (Oct 11), he said there were now seven hospitals with a total capacity of 946 beds designated to handle Covid-19 cases that require intensive care (categories three to five) in the state, which include 66 critical care beds and 170 ventilators.
