AS Uganda commemorates her 58th Independence Day today, allow me to convey warm greetings from HE President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the government and people of the Republic of Uganda to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and family, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, all arms of the Malaysian government and the fraternal people of Malaysia.
On behalf of the government and the people of Uganda, I extend our appreciation to the government and people of Malaysia for timely measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, and for accommodating Ugandan nationals who were stranded in Malaysia due to the outbreak.
