Covid-19: 'Sensible decision' by govt not to implement nationwide MCO, says Lam Thye

PETALING JAYA: The government made a "sensible decision" not to implement a nationwide movement control order (MCO) but opt for targeted enhanced MCOs to deal with the latest spike in Covid-19 cases, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (pic).

In a statement Wednesday (Oct 7), Lee lauded the government's move but also questioned why the authorities had not monitored, tested and isolated prisoners and detainees for Covid-19 before the outbreak in prisons and detention centres.
