Over 1kg heroin seized, two men held in drug raid at KL condo


KUALA LUMPUR: More than 1kg of heroin was found during a drug raid at a high-end apartment in Jalan Sultan Ismail here.

The raid, at 8.15pm Monday (Oct 5), also led to the arrest of two men aged between 30 and 40 year old, said Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan Abdullah.

"The police seized 1,180g of suspected heroin worth around RM13,200.

"Urine tests conducted on both suspects showed a positive result for amphetamine and methamphetamine," he said in a statement Tuesday (Oct 6).

Both men have been remanded until Sept 12.
