KOTA KINABALU: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government has been urged to consider appointing professionals among the six nominated assemblymen, to emulate what the Federal Government did earlier this year.
Datuk Melanie Chia from Sabah Independent Candidate Alliance (SICA), an ad-hoc five-member political group formed during the recent Sabah state election, highlighted Perikatan Nasional government’s previous move to nominate and appoint former CIMB Bank Bhd CEO Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz as Finance Minister.
