IPOH: A total of 406 compounds worth over RM800,000 were issued to several factories in the state for failing to adhere to the Environment Department regulations.
Its director Rosli Zul said a total of 76 factories were checked at seven districts in the state during the four-day Ops Gempur Barat between Sept 28 and Oct 1.
