KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here quashed the conviction and sentence passed down on a former electronics company director who was convicted of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM26mil nine years ago on technical grounds.
Datuk Abul Hasan Mohamed Rashid, a director of Multicode Electronics Industries (M) Bhd, was sentenced by a Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court to six years in jail for CBT despite the offence being committed in Johor Baru.
