The MCA president also thanked the Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional machinery who worked hard to campaign during the elections.
He also thanked the MCA machinery for campaigning in the four state seats contested by the party.
“I realise that the results this time did not favour MCA and there are a lot of weaknesses that need to be overcome. MCA will conduct a post-mortem and will work hard to rectify all our weaknesses,” he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (Sep 26).
According to official results, GRS has won at least 37 seats in the election needed to form a simple majority.
