Again! Burst pipe causes water disruption in Kuala Langat and Sepang

PETALING JAYA: Nine areas in Kuala Langat and Sepang are experiencing water disruption due to a burst pipe at Bandar Sri Ehsan, near the KLIA mosque.

Air Selangor said the unscheduled water cut was made at 1am Wednesday, but did not disclose the time and cause of the burst pipe.

The areas affected in Kuala Langat are Taman Langat Utama, Taman D’Menara, Taman Murnimas, RTB Bukit Changgang, Bandar Sri Ehsan, Taman Langat Murni, Bandar Mahkota and Bandar Brooklands.

For Sepang, the area affected is Estet SOPEC, Air Selangor said in a statement Wednesday.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 5pm today (Sept 16) and the water supply is expected to be restored in stages to the affected areas from 8pm onwards, it added.

Tanker trucks have been mobilised to the affected areas. Users are advised to download the Air Selangor app for latest updates or contact the customer service helpline at 15300 for assistance.
