JOHOR BARU: Singapore’s Temasek Foundation has donated a million washable face masks to the Raja Zarith Sofiah of Johor Foundation for the use of the people of the state.

Permaisuri of Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah said she and Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar were grateful and appreciated Temasek Foundation’s continued assistance.

“These washable masks are more cost effective as they last longer and will reduce the need to continuously buy disposable masks, ” Her Majesty said in a statement posted on the Royal Johor official Facebook page on Tuesday (Sept 15).

Raja Zarith Sofiah added that the solid cooperation between both foundations were reflective of the healthy bond shared between Johor and Singapore through the years.

She also said that the face masks would be distributed in all 10 Johor districts through their respective district offices.
