Indonesian plantation worker dies after oil palm bunch cutter pierces his chest

JASIN: A 32-year Indonesian plantation worker died in a freak incident after an oil palm bunch cutter pierced his left chest.

Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Mispani Hamdan said the incident occurred at about 11.20am on Monday (Sept 14) when the worker was cutting the bunches when the cutter accidentally fell onto him at Ladang Bukit Asahan here.
