KAMPAR: The Perak government says it is hoping the Finance Ministry will loosen the 48-hour requirement before tourists can enjoy duty-free shopping on Pangkor Island.
State Tourism Committee chairman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohd Radzi said there have been many requests from shops and vendors at the island due to the increasing number of tourists there.
