"Both the Education and Health Ministries are concerned about the safety and health of students.
"However, the decisions is best left to the Health Ministry and the NSC," he said after launching the Reverend William Edward Horley and Grace Towers building at SK Perempuan Methodist here.
On the RM1.8mil building named after the school's founder Reverend William and the school's first headmistress, Grace. Dr Mah said the building would house all pupils in one school session.
The school was set up in 1895.
He said previous generations had contributed a lot to education, for the present generation to benefit from.
"We must work as a team to further continue to contribute in education for coming generations.
"This school is one of the examples, where this new building was built for the benefit of education and students," he added.
