Sabah STAR to contest eight seats in state polls

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah STAR president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (pic) will contest his Tambunan seat in the state polls as his party goes for a total of eight seats under the Perikatan Nasional alliance.

Amid conflicts for seats with Perikatan partners particularly with Sabah Umno, Jeffrey named six candidates and expects to name the candidates for the remaining two seats over the next 24 hours.
