IPOH: Despite paying loan sharks four times the amount he borrowed, a waiter in Singapore and his family here are being continuously harassed.
According to Wong Tuck Heng, 52, an electrician, his 31-year-old son in Singapore had borrowed S$400 (about RM1,200) on July 30 from an online moneylender to pay his house rental after finding himself jobless during the movement control order (MCO) due to Covid-19.
