Sabah polls: Overlapping seat demands delay deal within Opposition coalition

KOTA KINABALU: Overlapping demands for seven state seats is causing a deadlock in seat negotiations among the alliance of Opposition parties as they rush to make it to the Sept 12 nomination day for the 16th Sabah state elections.

Although Sabah Umno and Sabah Bersatu have more or less settled their seats, it was learned that negotiations continue between Sabah Umno, Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Sabah STAR.
