BUTTERWORTH (Bernama): A man was seriously wounded and lost his left thumb when he was slashed by his friend wielding a sword, allegedly for flirting with the suspect’s girlfriend in Telok Air Tawar.
Seberang Perai Utara district police chief, ACP Noorzainy Mohd Noor said in the 6pm incident on Aug 31, the suspect, a self-employed man aged 20, called the 28-year-old victim to his house in Permatang Tok Brain before attacking him with the sword.
