Boutique accused of punishing workers severely


A BOUTIQUE in Singapore has been accused of doling out humiliating punishment on its staff who were forced to perform 200 squats for failing to hit their sales target, reported Sin Chew Daily.

It quoted a local paper, Shin Min Daily, as reporting that employees of the boutique were also subjected to other punishment, including being fined for not putting the cap back on pens, not being quick enough to remove clothes left by customers in the fitting rooms and even for forgetting to log out of the cash register system.
