Perak Opposition had filed court application to declare state assembly Speaker post vacant

IPOH: Perak state Opposition whip Dr Abdul Aziz Bari (pic) has already filed an application with a High Court here to declare the post of state legislative assembly speaker as vacant, after the resignation of Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham in May.

The state DAP vice-chairman and Tebing Tinggi assemblyman filed the application on Aug 13.
