PUTRAJAYA: Over 500 individuals were arrested by the police for violating the recovery movement control order (MCO) in a day, mostly for nightlife activities and not following physical distancing rules.
Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said the police nabbed 515 individuals, of which 69 were remanded, six were offered bail, while 440 were issued compounds, during standard operating procedure (SOP) compliance checks on Sunday (Aug 23).
