Outsiders must not venture into remote Sarawak without local guide, says Telang Usan rep

Remote rivers in the deep interior of Sarawak have dangerous rapids and boulders and swift current.

MIRI: Outsiders must not venture into the deep unknown rivers and jungles of rural northern Sarawak without the guidance of a local native villager.

This is because some of these rivers have dangerous rapids and boulders and swift currents that can be unpredictable, said state assemblyman for Telang Usan, Dennis Ngau.
