EzBiz Online that is accessible via https://ezbiz.ssm.com.my/ is a platform that is not only easy to use, but it is also fast, efficient and operates 24 hours daily for the convenience of customers.
EzBiz Online offers various services at the customers’ fingertips so that they no longer have to be physically present at SSM counters.
The portal, among others, enables customers to register and renew businesses, make changes in particulars of businesses, allow for the termination of businesses, purchase business information and pay compounds via a safe and trusted online platform.
Customers can be assured that the online portal has been designed with safety features and is a trusted site.
Two simple steps required to access the platform are as follows:
> Step 1: RegisterIndividuals interested to perform business transactions first need to register as a user.
> Step 2: VerificationAs a one-off process, customers will need to be present at SSM counters for their identity card authentication via biometric validation to avoid abuse of personal information by irresponsible parties.
By completing these simple steps, customers using the EzBiz Online portal can enjoy an easier business registration process. The process can be done at home, at office premises or anywhere without being limited by SSM’s operation hours.
Most importantly, the portal gives customers advantages and benefits in terms of cost savings, time and quality as they no longer have to be present physically at SSM counters, or line up, or wait their turns to complete their transactions.
Moreover, they will no longer need to bear the cost of travelling to SSM offices by completing their transactions online whenever and wherever.
Applications sent through the EzBiz Online portal are also more accurate and trusted, as the application is personally filled in by the customers.
Apart from that, being a body that prioritise technology and innovativeness as a means to ease business transactions, SSM has also widened its electronic services via EzBiz Kiosk.

As a safety measure, SSM only accepts cashless payment at the ezBiz Kiosk, via credit and debit cards.
EzBiz on the Go
SSM also operates EzBiz on the Go, which is a mobile counter operational nationwide including in rural areas.
SSM reaches out to its customers via EzBiz on the Go, which not only provides similar services like EzBiz Online and EzBiz Kiosk, but also has advisory and information services for the public.
To also increase its reach to even more customers, SSM has appointed Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and Bank Rakyat as agents to manage the renewal of business registrations.
SSM customers that are located far away from SSM offices can instead complete their transactions of renewing business registrations that are going to expire or have already expired at any BSN or Bank Rakyat branch counters. The service has been made available at all BSN and Bank Rakyat locations throughout Malaysia.EzBiz on the Go could also be mobilised upon request by government bodies or agencies, private sectors and others as part of their programmes involving the business community.
More than one million users
As of June 30, this year, SSM has recorded a total of 7.8 million business registrations in Malaysia. Of the figure, 1.5 million are active businesses.
With the increasing number of businesses, there is a need for SSM to keep up by continuously upgrading its portal for smooth operations as well as addressing the needs of its customers.
As of July 2020, there are 1,178,377 million active EzBiz Portal users, which is a progressive figure in the sustainability of the EzBiz Portal usage by SSM customers.
At the same time, SSM customers have also shown an encouraging response towards the EzBiz Kiosk, EzBiz on the Go and the two banking services initiated Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and Bank Rakyat to meet the requirement of customers.
